Review of Dean Koontz's Elsewhere

Dean Koontz has been a favorite writer of mine for many years. He is the absolute master at characterizing good and evil. His narrative descriptions are amazing and his fluid style is at its best in books like Elsewhere. Elsewhere is fantasy in a realistic form. Scientists have been exploring the realms of multiple realities for years. Dean Koontz brings them to life in Elsewhere. The hero of the story lost his wife seven years before. She simply left him and his daughter to explore other venues. After all this time he finally files for and is granted a divorce. One of his friends, a homeless man visits and explains that he is leaving a box for the man...the key to everything. It turns out the key is a way to hop into various parallel universes and so the story begins. In every universe, there is good and evil and we know that good will prevail in Mr. Koontz's novels but the journey to there is what makes them fun and exciting. Read his latest. It is a favorite, but all his books are...and by the way the critter in this one is a white pet mouse belonging to the daughter. I love the critters in his books.
